So....4 of us, 4 days in London and 4 shows. Not all were Wicked by the way, just incase you wondered.
It seemed like we'd been planning this weekend for forever...I mean, we booked the Wicked cast change tickets way back at the beginning of January. Infact, we'd done loads of the planning before we even met Nicki. Crazy horses.
Anyway, initially we were going to just do the 2 shows on the saturday...kinda traditional I guess. Although this year, we agreed that £20 side stalls tickets for the matinee would be sufficient (I was SO glad of this decision later on) and we had row C centre block for the evening..yay! However, somehow, we ended up buying tickets for the friday evening too! Bizarre. Dunno how that happened ;)
So, Nat and Nicki headed down to Reading in 1st class because they are posh and rich..or something and got extremely overexcited about free drinks and sandwiches etc. I met them at Reading station and we went to print off pictures and stuff before getting a train to Paddington. We had intended to visit various theatres around the city delivering socks, but I was behind on the book so we had to just sit down ( in the food court..where else) and finish that off. We ate a LOT of chicken nuggets...and the others got excited by stickers from Happy Meals. losers ;)
After the book was finished and it was arriving time for the cast, we headed down to wait fairly near the stagedoor to give the book to Kerry. I hate hate hate stagedooring before a show, but we thought it would be the best time to give it to her.....HA. She was not on. CJ arrived and told someone she was on tonight..and sure enough..she was. I don't mind CJ at all, actually I think she's pretty good and to be fair, she was leaving for good so it was all ok. Show was good....can't remember a lot about it though.
We headed back to Kim's after the show and attempted to fit all our crap plus us in her tiny little bedroom. Funtimes. Ordering pizza was fun....there's a video somewhere of Kim interviewing Nicki about pizza....very bizarre.
Oh and the tomato ketchup blew up again and went everywhere. SO funny. This caused Nicki to get online and email Heinz and complain. very funny. I was happy with my curly fries :)
